ACTION WORK
"Smoother Double Action"

  1.  Action work is a term used to describe the smoothing out of all the internal parts of the revolver that either have motion or are a mating surface or bearing surface.

Action work typically will reduce trigger pull in double action by reducing the force required to
pull the trigger to the rear of the revolver.

Areas that receive treatment are the Cylinder Assembly, Yoke Assembly, Ejector Rod, Trigger
Assembly, Hand, Hammer Assembly, Sear, Mainspring, Frame bearing surfaces, Trigger Rebound, Mainspring guide (J Frames Only), Strain screw (All others) and Rebound Spring.

All action work we complete is quality checked prior to release to ensure that it will fire U.S. Standard Factory Produced Ammunition.

Action work is appropriate for all double action revolvers and can also be done on single action revolvers.

For more information about Action Work, go to our Tips & Tricks Section.

                                                                                Trigger Work
                                                                        "Lighter & Crisper Single Action"

Trigger Work is a term used to describe the proceess of setting a trigger to a specific pull weight through stoning the contecting surfaces between the trigger and the single action cocking notch.

Trigger Work will reduce your single action trigger pull from a factory 4-5 lbs down to as low as 3.0 lbs without all of the factory creep.  We do not go lower than 3.0 lbs due to a condition that can result called "Push-off".

Trigger work is appropriate for all sIngle action revolvers, double action revolvers and some autos.

                                                                    Trigger Radius and Polish
                                                                                                                            "Maintain sight alignment"

Trigger Radius and polish is a term used to describe the process of rounding the edges of a
 trigger through stoning and polishing.

Trigger Radius and Polish is frequently done to double action revolvers to help the shooter
maintain slight alignment while firing in double action.  Some gun owners also get this done
because it just looks nice or because there are signs of rust on the trigger.

We can also do a Radius & Bead Blast instead of a polish at no extra chare if you are looking for more of a tactical look.

Trigger Radius and Polish is appropriate for all guns.

Cylinder chamfering is used by both competative shooters and concealed carry shooters alike.
